Heart Walk Recap - 2012

Yesterday, we had the honor of participating in the Triangle Heart Walk with a slew of family and friends.

This was our third year walking in honor of Ethan and every year has been just as special as the one before it.  I know I must sound like a broken record, but I am so, so grateful for the support we've been shown over the past three and a half years.  It's incredible to be a part of such a loving community of people, and the annual heart walks are an outward display of that support and love.  It makes me all giddy inside.

As a team, we were able to raise almost $4,000 for our local American Heart Association! (Three-thousand, nine hundred and eighty six dollars, to be exact.)  That is just unbelievable! We were a team on a mission, though, and many great ideas and caring hearts came together to raise an outstanding amount of money.  I am so proud!

I'll leave you with a few more photos, and my redundant words of thanks.  Even if you couldn't walk with us yesterday, you are Team Ethan just by reading this blog and offering up encouragement and prayers.

We thank you and love you for it.
