Shutterfly Review and a GIVEAWAY!

This post is sponsored by Shutterfly.

I do believe it has finally turned fall here in North Carolina.  There were a few days earlier in the week when I began to wonder if we had moved straight into winter, but our sunny, crisp days have arrived!

October is one of my favorite months of the year, in general, but it is a big month for our family this year.  We leave for Disney World soon and I'm already thinking about the pictures we'll take and what I'll do with them.

Of course, we can't be this close to the holidays without me planning to include at least one or two of them in our Christmas card.  As if the good folks over at Shutterfly knew just what I was thinking, I received an e-mail a few days ago highlighting some of their new designs for 2012.  They've also offered to make the ordering process a little merrier for one of you by allowing me to give away a pretty fantastic prize.  But, more on that in a minute.

I've looked through some of their Christmas Cards this week, and even found a few contenders for our family's card.  My eye is definitely drawn to the teals and reds this year!

It looks like I'm a sucker for black and white photos, too!

Regardless of your style, Shutterfly is sure to have something for you.  Take a minute to browse their selection and check out their Special Offers page while you're at it.  If you find a card that you'd really like to send to family and friends this year, then I have some great news for you!

Shutterfly has offered to give one reader $50 off their total order.  (Applies to any Shutterfly order, not just holiday cards.  This does not include shipping and handling, and it cannot be combined with any other promotions.)  All you have to do is leave one comment on this post, telling me your favorite thing about the upcoming holiday season, and you'll be entered to win.

Easy as {pumpkin} pie!

The giveaway will be open for the next two weeks, ending at 11:59 p.m. EST on October 26, 2012.  Each commenter will be assigned a number (commenter #1 will be 1, commenter #2 will be 2, etc.) and I'll use Random.org to choose the winner.  I'll post the winner's name here, then I'll report the winner's information to Shutterfly, who will directly send him/her a promo code to receive $50 off their total order.

Happy browsing, and good luck!

I am looking forward to celebrating our son's 1st birthday this holiday season and watching his excitement as he experiences Christmas for the first time!

Oh my, I can only put one thing! Ha! I guess taking lots of family pictures throughout the season is my favorite thing although watching my kids' joy on Christmas morning is right up there too. Oh wait, no, my most favorite thing is definitely watching a special Christmas movie with my kids about the true reason for the season! And I "heart" Shutterfly too and have really enjoyed their e-mail discounts and need to take advantage of the 50% photobooks one going on right now. And you are going to have an awesome time at Disney. If you haven't already, you can check out my posts from May and June about our trip to get some ideas. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and did the full Disney experience...for boys (none of that dining with the princesses mumbo jumbo for us). Hehe! I did post about some of our tips and tricks too. I highly recommend the photopass option!

I love this is my son's first Christmas where he'll really know what's going on. I'm excited to make new memories with him and start traditions for our own family :)

I LOVE the time off from work! And most of all, since everyone is off, you don't have to come back to a PILE of work like when you take a summer vacation and everyone else is still working. :)

It is the season of love. You can feel it in the air. No other season feels like this one. We love to show our love to others with gifts picked especially to match the receiver. We forget about our wants and needs and focus on what will make another person happy. I love it!

I am looking forward to having my parents come to Raleigh for Christmas for the first time since my kids were born, as they live in Florida and like to stay warm. They are planning to brave the cold this year to come and see us; I'm excited about that!

If there's just one thing that I'm most looking forward to this holiday season, it'd definitely be introducing my sweet baby niece, Andréa to my favoritest holiday - Christmas!! Yes, I know she won't remember it, but I will never forget it! I will forever cherish those memories and hold them close when I'm missing her. She and her parents are moving to another country next year. That makes it even more precious. So it will be doubly special this year... Baby's First Christmas and the last few months that will be all be together. It's exciting and bittersweet all in one... <3

I love visiting all the people I don't get to see very often. It's kind of a pain to pack up the kids and everything for a long drive, but seeing family makes it worth it.
