Heart Friends

As Jeramie has mentioned on Twitter, we have met many amazing people in this hospital. Two particular families have been extremely encouraging, and have offered prayers and support for us as we're going through this process. It's been so nice to have other moms to talk to who have been in similar situations.

These two beautiful girls are our new "heart friends". I would encourage you to check out their blogs and say some prayers for them and their families. I personally think of them daily and thank God for crossing our paths.

Joye and Jeramie,

I was reading Charlotte's page this morning and saw Jenn's mention of your blog.I think our son Jack is a couple of beds down from you in the PC-ICU.

We met the Touseys through our cardiologist after Jack's heart problem was first discovered. They're great people and I'm glad you met up with them.

I'm praying everything goes smoothly today and that Ethan has a quick recovery.

Joye, thanks for linking your praying friends to Audrey's website. Not only are we in the same Family of God but now God has knit our "hearts" together as we share our experiences, frustrations, joys! We pray for Ethan daily. Be strong in the Lord. None of this came as a surprise to Him. He has been our strength for these 3 years.

I was just checking Charlotte's blog and found out about you. I've got a 19 month old son named Ethan that has the same heart defect as Charlotte (HLHS). Praying for all to go well with the pacemaker surgery.

Heart Hugs,

You are so sweet! It's just not normal to make friends this way, but at least if we have to be on this road we can meet people who make the trip a little easier.
