I've seen my share of babies and I have to say that he is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen right after birth! It even looks like he is smiling in some of the pictures you took. He looks like a "fighter" to me and we are praying that he comes out of this healthy and well!
We love you guys!

I just heard from Joye and Ethan has come out of surgery. It has taken a couple hours longer than expected. There were a couple of extra things they needed to address when they got inside. Since Ethan was on the heart & lung machine for such a long period, Joye and Jeramie have been told to expect a long night tonight. They have asked everyone to pray for his little body tonight as he has dealt with a lot today. Jeramie will be stayig with him tonight.
More good news, they got back the preliminary results back today on two of his tests. He has 46 chromosomes and is XY! The remaining test has to be sent off for the remaining information.
Please continue to pray for Ethan through the night and for a restful night for Joye & Jeramie.

Joye and Jeramie,
My son Patrick shared with me late today about your sweet family. I have enjoyed seeing the photos of you beautiful son, Ethan. What a precious little man!! I want you to know that many saints in Charlotte are praying for you all. With the Lord all things are possible, nothing is too difficult for our God. We will keep praying for Ethan's health, and peace and rest for "Mom and Dad".
